Strategic cooperation agreement between Narada Power Source Co Ltd. and LS Industrial Systems Co Ltd

On December 2, Narada signed a strategic agreement with South Korea’s LS Industrial Systems Co Ltd (LSIS). The two parties will work together in global integrated energy services, resource recovery and other fields.

Gu Zijun (Chairman of LSIS), Pu Longxiang (President) Yu Shenggui (Director), Yuying Guo (General Manager), Zhu Baoyi (President of Narada), Wu Xianzhang (Vice President), Chen Jian (Chief Engineer), and Chen Liying (President’s Assistant) attended the signing ceremony. On behalf of Narada, President Zhu Baoyi signed a contract with the President of LSIS.

LSIS (formerly known as LG Power Generation) was founded in 1974 and originated from South Korea. It has 8 factories, 4 R&D centers and 1 Power Testing Technology Research Institute situated around the world. Relying on their technical strength and expertise accumulated after years of being in this power field, LSIS has developed to become the largest and most comprehensive electro-mechanical manufacturer in Korea. They are also the first manufacturer of industrial electrical automatic products in Korea.

With this strategic agreement, both companies will want to build a platform together to promote comprehensive energy services, application, market development to realize industrial technology upgrades.

This cooperation will help both parties to strengthen market development and increase efficiency. At the same time, integrated energy businesses such as energy storage, energy service methods that meets the needs of diversified energy production and consumption are used to increase the use of green energy to improve reliability and safety of electricity consumption.

Participants also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on project progress, goals, plans, requirements of this cooperation, and reached a consensus on principles for handling related issues.

During the meeting, Chairman Gu Zijun and his party also visited Narada’s Supply National Enterprise Technology Center, National Accreditation Laboratory, Lithium Battery Energy Storage Power Plant, Valve-Regulated Battery Production Base, and learned more about the company’s technology innovation, talent introduction, future development planning, production and operation.

On September 21, 1994, Narada Power Source Co., Ltd. was established, which opened the prologue to the development of the company. Narada Signed a Cooperation Agreement with EDF Renewables on Advancing Battery Storage Projects in China

Narada announced the signature of a cooperation agreement to transact battery storage projects in China with EDF Renewables China, Chinese subsidiary of a global player in renewable energies.

The cooperation started with the acquisition agreement by EDF Renewables China of a battery storage owned and operated since September 2018 by Narada. The distributed 1.5MW/12MWh Zhenjiang Energy Storage solution is located in Jiangsu province, China.

The new agreement paves the way for the functional expansion of the project, which is set to provide up to 12,000kWh/day to a nearby recent industrial park.

Anhui Huabo Renewable Resources Technology Co., Ltd. selected for the list of Top 100 Operating Income and Top 100 Manufacturing Industry

On August 28th, one of Narada’s subsidiary Huabo Technology has been selected for the list of top 100 operating income and top 100 manufacturing industry among all private enterprises in Anhui Province in 2019.

It is reported that the survey on the operation of large-scale private enterprises in Anhui Province and the top 100 activities have been carried out for 21 consecutive years. The entry threshold for the top 100 has increased from $ 336.79 million in the previous year to $ 434.45 million, an increase of $ 97.66 million, the highest in the past five years.

In 2018, Huabo Technology’s operating income was $ 628.67 million, an increase of 7% year-on-year and the tax paid was $112 million, a year-on-year increase of 26.67%. Narada High Temperature Battery Selected for UN Assistance Project

Recently, the Yemen Hospital power supply project funded by the World Bank and under the responsibility of the UN project office for general contracting, design and supervision was officially launched. The Narada HTB series high-temperature battery was selected by the United Nations project affairs to participate in the project with its superior high-temperature operation performance.

In order to meet the power supply needs of the two hospitals in Aden, the Hybrid Solar Systems Project funded by the World Bank and contracted by the United Nations project office was installed at Birth and Neotatal Care equipment at Al-Shaab Hospital and  the Dialysis Center equipment in the – Al Jamhoria Hospital. The smooth operation of the project will effectively improve the electricity consumption conditions of local hospitals. The use of solar energy system and high-temperature batteries can reduce the operating costs of hospitals. The stable power supply can not only ensures the normal operation of hospital equipment, but also provides better living conditions for patients.

Yemeni Aden is a tropical desert climate. The hot season is from May to September every year, with an average maximum temperature of 41.8˚C, and the highest ever reached 45.7˚C,. It is a high temperature environment that ordinary batteries cannot adapt. Narada HTB series high temperature battery was selected by the UN project affairs to participate in the project due to its superior high temperature operation performance. Narada high temperature battery does not require air conditioning to cool down even in the high temperature environment of Aden in summer, which can effectively reduce system operating costs.

Recently, the China Industrial Association of Power Sources Energy Storage Application Branch released the “2019 Energy Storage Industry Application Research Report”. Narada’ s installed capacity and power scale ranked first in China’s new electrochemical energy storage projects in 2018.

The white paper not only analyzes the pattern and situation of the domestic and international energy storage market of 2018, but also publishes the ranking of China’s newly-invested electrochemical energy storage of 2018.
