Narada High Temperature Battery Selected for UN Assistance Project

Recently, the Yemen Hospital power supply project funded by the World Bank and under the responsibility of the UN project office for general contracting, design and supervision was officially launched. The Narada HTB series high-temperature battery was selected by the United Nations project affairs to participate in the project with its superior high-temperature operation performance.

Yemen Power Situation

Aden, Yemen , located at the southwestern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, is the gateway to the Indian Ocean from the Red Sea. It is known as the maritime traffic hub of Europe, Asia and Africa. It is also a world famous port. However, the power situation of Yemen is weak. There is a shortage of power supply, the transmission and distribution environment is unstable, and residents use solar energy systems to solve the problem of lighting power, but they cannot meet the power supply requirements of important equipment such as Aden Hospital.

Power Assistance Project Completed

In order to meet the power supply needs of the two hospitals in Aden, the Hybrid Solar Systems Project funded by the World Bank and contracted by the United Nations project office was installed at Birth and Neotatal Care equipment at Al-Shaab Hospital and  the Dialysis Center equipment in the – Al Jamhoria Hospital. The smooth operation of the project will effectively improve the electricity consumption conditions of local hospitals. The use of solar energy system and high-temperature batteries can reduce the operating costs of hospitals. The stable power supply can not only ensures the normal operation of hospital equipment, but also provides better living conditions for patients.

Narada High Temperature Battery in Yemen

Yemeni Aden is a tropical desert climate. The hot season is from May to September every year, with an average maximum temperature of 41.8˚C, and the highest ever reached 45.7˚C,. It is a high temperature environment that ordinary batteries cannot adapt. Narada HTB series high temperature battery was selected by the UN project affairs to participate in the project due to its superior high temperature operation performance. Narada high temperature battery does not require air conditioning to cool down even in the high temperature environment of Aden in summer, which can effectively reduce system operating costs.

5G is Coming! Narada 5G Telecom Power Solution Support Build Smart City

As the key carrier of the future “Internet of Everything”, 5G technology is regarded as the “stone” of smart city construction in the industry, and will provide VR virtual reality industry, 360° panoramic video live broadcast, telemedicine industry, unmanned autopilot industry, Internet of Things strong network support.

 

2019 will be the first year of 5G commercial use. It is expected that the 5G network of China’s three major telecom operators will cover the whole country by 2021.The development speed of 5G is much higher than that of 4G and 3G. Narada has been continuously tracking the new requirements of 5G technology for power systems, and has developed new products and solutions adapted to the 5G base station model in time to adapt to the new demands of network convenience and security in the 5G era.

 

Narada 5G communication power solution is a backup power system with high security and reliability specially developed for 5G communication base station. It is superior to traditional 4G solution in power density, specific energy and battery intelligent management, and adopting international advanced technology.The system uses lithium iron phosphate technology with higher safety and reliability, and the cycle life is more than 10 times that of traditional lead-acid batteries. The battery system is highly integrated, the mass energy density is more than 5 times that of the conventional battery, and the volumetric energy density is more than 3 times, which greatly reduces the space occupied and the load bearing demand.

 

Narada 5G communication power system also adopts advanced intelligent battery management system, which can remotely monitor the running status of equipment through the Internet, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc. It has the functions of timely monitoring, diagnosis, prevention and protection of the power system, greatly improving the security of power supply. In addition, Narada 5G communication power system adopts modular design. The system adopts different external interfaces for installation and expansion. It can be installed in standard rack installation and pole-mounted, which can be quickly deployed in 5G base stations, greatly accelerating the deployment speed of 5G base stations.

 

“This system adopts IP65 and above waterproof level and corrosion resistance, and has thermal management system such as heating and cooling. It can be installed in harsh outdoor environment and is used normally at -30 °C ~ 65 °C”. Narada related technical experts said.

 

At present, Narada has completed the development of 5G communication power system, and is currently cooperating with international telecom giants. With the expansion of 5G commercial, this system will be more widely used in the 5G telecom market at home and abroad.

 

At the same time, in the promotion of base station energy-saving systems, Narada will combine energy storage technology, energy-saving and emission reduction schemes, intelligent monitoring systems and the construction of traditional communication equipment rooms together to form a new application models and system solutions to promote the transformation of business models.

NARADA WON THE BID OF CHINA MOBILE’S 200 MILLION PROCUREMENT PROJECT

Recently, Narada won the bid of China Mobile’s procurement project for lithium iron phosphate battery, the estimate amount of this bid about RMB 200 million.

The success of this project will enhance Narada’s industrial advantage, have a positive impact on the expands of communication backup power service and the growth of operating performance.

Narada was specializing in backup power battery field with over 20 years, provide comprehensive products and systematic solution to customers with industry-leading technology. In recent years, the sale scale of Narada’s lithium battery for communication backup have been expanding, our products have been recognized by customers at home and abroad. This project with China Mobile will consolidate and expand the dominant position of Narada in the field of communication backup power.

Narada is research on the construction mode of 5G base station now, launch new lithium battery products and system to meet the cycle life, stability and operating cost of 5G base station.
