The advanced technology and unique manufacturing methods enable HTB to deliver at least twice the life cycle of conventional lead-acid batteries, making them the first choice for increased power demands in remote hybrid telecom sites and other tough off-grid applications.

LiFePO4 has been considered as one of the most popular cathode for lithium ion batteries used for electric vehicles (EVs) or large-scale energy storage systems. Lithium iron batteries’ inherent merits include long cycle ability, low toxicity, potential for low cost and high safety standards. Lithium iron batteries provide a high theoretical capacity of 170 mAh and a long cycle life (more than 3000 cycles). The VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid) products use the AGM (absorbed glass mat) technology.This means that AGM mat is applied to separate the positive and negative plates, absorb electrolyte. Electrolyte immobilizationwith AGM separator that continues to maintain firm contactbetween the plates within is a key requirement for VRLA batteries.The use of AGM mat as separator allows easier transfer of the oxygen gas (evolvedat the positive plate during charge) to the negative plate, then recombine with the hydrogen creating water and preventing water loss.

AGM-Gel batteries combine the advantage of AGM technology and polymer gel technology. The separator material of AGM-gel battery is an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat). A gelling agent is added to the electrolyte to reduce movement inside the battery case. Many gel batteries also use one way valves in place of open vents, this helps the normal internal gasses to recombine back into water in the battery, reducing gassing. With the polymer gel technology, AGM-gel battery can provide more capacity at lower temperatures and reduce water-loss at high temperatures; AGM-Gel also have a good large current performance for AGM technology.

‘Tubular Flooded’ is a traditional technology for batteries, positive plate is tubular in type and the electrolyte is dilute sulfuric acid. Tubular Flooded batteries are very reliable and robust against harsh environments and ideally suited for all reserve power applications that require the highest levels of reliability and security. Tubular Flooded batteries are not gas recombination in type and need more maintenance than VRLA batteries. NARADA OPzS Series Lead Acid batteries are designed with a combination of die-casting Tubular positive framework and superfluous electrolyte technologies to offer a very high lever of reliability and a long service life.

Narada Coolstar cabinet is designed to protect VRLA type lead acid batteries in telecommunication and photovoltaic energy storage applications against stressful ambient temperature conditions. The Coolstar energy efficient operation allows to significantly reduce equipment-cooling costs by targeting the thermal management efforts directly toward the 48V battery. Coolstar is ideal for countries with hot or tropical climate and for any location where cooling/heating energy is at a premium and its consumption has to be minimized.
